30 ml | Alcohol-based extract | Made from Propolis from Jem's apiary.
For those of you who have met me at my stall and asked about propolis, you might remember me showing you a small vial of homemade propolis tincture - that's if I had it with me! A lot of you were interested in it.
After investing in new equipment, I'm very happy to share that I am now able to make small batches of propolis tincture pretty regularly! Well done, you've found the listing!
This small-batch tincture is a concentrated extract made using 50% ABV vodka to draw out the naturally occurring compounds found in raw propolis. For those of you who don't know, propolis is a resinous substance gathered by honeybees from tree buds and plant sources within the local environment. Inside the hive, it is used as part of the bees’ natural structure and defence system. To learn more about it, read my blog post: Propolis: What Actually Is It?
The bottles of tincture I make are prepared in small batches using a traditional maceration method. They are slow-steeped and then filtered carefully before being bottled in amber glass to protect the tincture from light.
Ingredients Vodka (water, alcohol), raw propolis.
Suggested Use 10–20 drops per day diluted in a drink of choice.
Shake well before use.

Every batch is prepared in a dedicated food-safe environment, with documented processes and full traceability. This is beekeeping at source (UK beekeeping at source!) - not bulk imported extract.
