Hi, I’m Jem – welcome to Jem’s Bees®.
I’m a beekeeper and designer.
My work has received several awards recognising the methods I use and the impact of my projects. I’m always exploring what sustainability means in real, everyday terms.
You’ll find natural bee produce, handmade items, and thoughtful designs in my online shop. I also create custom honey miniatures for gifts and businesses, and I offer overwintered nucleus colonies to beekeepers (via application).
The blog library is steadily growing - full of bee-themed topics, and how-tos that share how I do things. It’s for anyone curious about bees, whether you’re a hobbyist, enthusiast, or just starting out with your own bees.

OVERWINTERED NUCS FOR 2026
Jem's Bees® will again be offering a limited number of overwintered National Nucs for 2026 via an application system. Keep an eye on the overwintered nucs page as updates will be posted there.
