Handmade honeybee produce, bee-themed gifts, and bees from an award-winning beekeeper.

Hi, I’m Jem – welcome to Jem’s Bees®.

I’m a beekeeper, designer, and practical advocate for simple, low-waste living and working. My business has won several awards for its low-impact, circular approach. I work with sustainability in mind by applying reuse thinking, and I try
and serve East Anglia with a local, personal touch.

In the shop you’ll find natural, handmade produce and specially designed items for beekeepers. I also create custom honey miniatures for businesses and special occasions, and sell overwintered nucleus colonies to beekeepers (via application). Plus, I share my thoughts and experiences in a growing blog library.

You can join my Collect-a-Bee loyalty scheme to earn or win bees (points) to trade for rewards. And new for 2025: a family-friendly puzzles page! Test your flower knowledge this July and see if you can win 60 bees.

Yes. It represents much more to me than just smoker fuel. Read the philosophy page to find out what I mean.
